About

Welcome!! I’m Jackie. 29 year old from Minnesota. Wife, Mom, Sister, Auntie and Daughter! January 10th, 2025 was my 5 Year Recovery Anniversary.

I decided to start this blog to raise awareness of Eating Disorders and Mental Health and to provide some insight on what I have found helpful in my recovery journey with now being a mom – Which already brings about its own challenges.

My Recovery journey has not been easy, I’ve fallen down but I have came back even stronger. I have had set-backs, but have learned from them.

My Biggest motivation is my hobbies and also discovering new ones along the way – Bowhunting, Snowmobiling, building trucks, lake days, being outside, DIY projects and spending as much time with my little family as I can!

Hang in there Mama – You are not alone!

Find your strength

I believe that sharing my story can help others facing similar battles. It’s important to talk about recovery, the struggles, and the victories no matter how small.

Support and understanding

Through this blog, I aim to create a supportive environment where others can feel seen and understood. Recovery is a journey best taken together.

Embrace your life

Life after anorexia has its challenges, but I’ve learned to embrace each moment and focus more on the things that make me smile and the things I enjoy. I want to inspire others to find joy in their recovery journeys.
